I am a whole-school assessment and standardisation specialist, and a specialist in improving mathematics departments. I began in the classroom, became a Vice Principal, and now serve as Special Advisor for Mathematics, Examinations and Standardisation, working across the IB and American Diploma curricula and managing examinations officers on more than one campus. I have examined for the IB since 2005 and for OCR since 2016, and contribute to the development of OCR mark schemes.
My focus is the point where curriculum meets assessment: what is taught, how it is marked, and whether the results can be trusted.
